This series has taken a long hiatus, but it felt like the right thing to bring back for several reasons. First - because over the course of my no-buy January/February (! not on purpose but I am being much more discerning with my purchases this year, and I just didn’t need or really want anything!) I amassed a large number of screenshots + items that stopped or inspired me during my scroll, but I tried not too share too much during a time when I was challenging myself and sharing my experience focusing on not accumulating anything new. Second, because it’s that time of year when we all could just use a little something to lust over.
Doesn’t mean you need it, or you’re going to buy it, or, I suppose, that you’ll even like it. But, we are just wrapping one of the hardest months of the year (February - its when the winter gloom really sets it), and we are entering (at least if you live in New England) another long slog month. My body and soul want a tropic trip, and unfortunately for me, my warm weather trip is behind me (yeah yeah, woe is me, my life is so hard, but I can barely remember the fact that we were in the tropics in December).
And then March. Yikes. Snow/Ice/Mud/Rain rinse and repeat. I have a birthday in March, so it’s a month that has been a focal point throughout my life, and I remember that my mom would always tell me, “March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb.” Well Mom, we’re ready to jump immediately to the lamb part, okay?!?! Just a few days ago I was saying I couldn’t even think about spring and warm weather clothes and just a few days of sun and slightly warmer temps and it’s all I’ve got on my mind! (If you read this piece, this is why I never carry out my plan to invest in another winter coat towards the tail end of the season!)
So I’ve got inspo and lust-worthy things galore, and a fresh set of eyes looking at all the springy-stuff…so let’s go!

I’m a big fan of the brand Aligne - I think they are putting out interesting, attractive and slightly different pieces, at an incredibly accessible price point. They just released a bridal edit, and I think this satin shift dress and blazer are chic as hell. Would be great for a shower, or if you were having a city hall (or other non-traditional) wedding! Also from the brand is this waistcoat (I’m truly obsessed with this one too, which isn’t pictured!)
I’m on the hunt for some more pants that I can wear to work — I am now going into my office most days of the week, and while it’s pretty casual, I prefer to not wear jeans everyday, and I want something between a jean and a very formal trouser (and honestly just a few more options). I saw these in the latest Doen release and am patiently awaiting my availability notification. (I know Doen is known for their dresses, but they cut a great pant!!) I’d wear them with these as much as possible! I don’t really need another pair of jeans, but I saw these and they made me stop - I like that wash a lot and I think Pistola cuts a great jean!
Looking for a way to change up your outfits, or make them feel special? Sometimes an interesting, but wearable earring (I really love these so much!) makes all the difference. Same with something special but perfect for everyday for your hair. Or maybe a satirical but so fun handbag?!?
We’re about to move away from boots season (wooo!), and I know many of us have sneakers on the mind. I like these as an alternative to sambas (even though I also love my sambas!!) I’m really interested in a new pair of ballet flats, and these would add interesting texture and pattern to my outfits, especially in the transitional seasons. And, these are perfect if you have an event coming up!
Cannot wait to be wearing lighter layers, and I love this coat, this one too. And this is the cutest coat in the world for a little girl!
India Amory wore a version of this bag last summer and I am obsessed with it. Can’t stop thinking about it! Also love this! (Can you tell I have pink on mind?)
I am obsessed with the styling of this cardigan - the color and the way the buttons are not fully done just feels great (I think this would look great with a maxi dress too!)
Speaking of sweaters, this is so chic! Not pictured, but my fave sweater in a mouth-watering blue - c’est parfait!
I love a good dress that can be worn to the office and also just around in my day-to-day life without a ton of styling changes. I imagine wearing it with perfect flats and carrying this cutie tote.
Okay, I think that’s pretty much everything in here! If I missed anything, you can find all the pieces here.
Thanks so much for reading! I’m excited to think more about styling as the seasons change, and all the things we can start to wear everyday again that I haven’t been reaching for as much in the wintertime! Are you shopping for anything? Thinking about style for spring? What are you most excited about! Drop it into the chat and let’s get excited to wear our favorite things for the season ahead!
