Ok this just pushed me to finally buy God of the Woods - I’ve had 3 DNFs in a row so in a major book slump and I’m getting over my social media saturation of GotW!

I have that Gap layer in a bright blue and this is a great reminder to grab one in white. It's such a good base!

I am currently reading God of the Woods right now! I don't read mystery/thrillers often, so I am really enjoying it!

I carry a backpack to work, but am toying with the idea of a tote. I just don't like feeling overwhelmed on one side, lol.

Such a good base! I swear by the whole gap "modern crew" line - I wear the tanks, bodysuits, ribbed t-shirts, and the long sleeve. I rarely sway, I just love the fit! Backpacks are definitely the most practical option (and I'm sure a chiropractor would applaud your choice!!!)

Love these recaps so much :) I feel you about the work bag in the winter. I have such a draw to getting a new bag but it feels so utilitarian and the one I have works and is fine?? That Tory one is divine though! Can't wait to see which one you end up with.

Wait, that’s so weird.. I ALSO beta read a book in December (written by my SIL) and it takes place in Boston and has two sisters.. but there is no way it can be the same book. But how strange!

Love this roundup! I have been struggling to finish a non-fiction book and the siren song of the fiction books you shared is calling my name….
