Too Many Open Tabs (09) : If you're in the mood for a little browsing...
Let's procrastinate together...shall we?
I’m back from the vacation that was not a vacation at all. Our nanny is unexpectedly out sick this week so my husband and I are back to work without our normal childcare, and my oldest is on school vacation week. In other words, it’s a doozy, and I should be laser-focused on my day job in the uninterrupted moments that I have but instead, I’m spending my lunch break “window shopping.” Would you like to join me?
Somehow it’s nearly the end of February which means we’re entering the transition to spring which means…sale season! Plus, it’s a long weekend (although unfortunately not for me…), so obviously, the perfect opportunity to convince customers to shop! Plus, plus, I’m feeling a little sorry for myself - so it’s the perfect time to indulge in a little retail therapy (I hope you can sense my sarcasm here - I really am an advocate for smart, conscious shopping, but yeah, I also like to indulge from time to time!)
Coming out of my no-buy January, I want to update my wishlist, but I haven’t had the time to think deeply about it. I have been starting to see some things that are making me all heart-eyed though, and I do know I have some denim gaps, some room for better accessories, and a few gaps in my work wardrobe that I need to close (bubbling up to the top of my list because I have a trip coming up next week). Plus…I’m ready for spring baby! So these are the things that are on my mind as I’m browsing. But I’m also just excited to be looking at new things and thinking about getting dressed as the weather warms up!
So, here are some of the sales that I’ve been eyeing over the past few days, as well as some new arrivals that I’m into.
Boden is offering 20% off all collections until Feb 22nd. Use code M2R3 (no shade to Boden, but has anyone told them they can use a more intuitive discount code?) I am extremely inspired by these yellow slingbacks for spring. Ditto for these loafers* (I’m ordering the white to try!) I shared this raincoat in January and now it’s included in the promotion! And I love this jacket - the coolest piece to be able to throw over a white tee and jeans.
Levi’s is offering 30-40% off sitewide. These are my favorite jeans* (in the indigo wash). I just ordered the dark stone wash to try. I saw these on Cameron Rogers and I’m obsessed with them. Considering ordering even though they are only available in a longer inseam & might get them hemmed if I love them? Also giving these a shot!
Lake PJs launched their annual sale. Use code VIP to get early access. I love their PJs and I (almost) never pay full price for them. My favorite is the long-short, but I also wear the short-short in warmer months. I size up (to a L, if you are curious), and I wash normally (normal wash for me is on cold & low heat dry cycle, but I definitely don’t hang to dry). I like their kids PJs too. They are on the expensive side for kids’ stuff, but PJs are one thing that I can be sure a) everyone will wear without fighting me, and b) will be passed down from my oldest to my youngest. I always size up, and I find the baby styles to run quite small, so would recommend sizing up 2 sizes!
Motif Skincare, which makes this great cleanser that I’ve talked about here and here, is celebrating their first birthday with 20% off. Use code BIRTHDAY.
Net-A-Porter is offering an additional 25% off a selection of pieces that are already discounted with code EXTRA25. I typically filter by brand or category here to make sense of it all. If you’re shopping for an event - I love this pink dress, and this yellow number is a beaut! Love these clogs. My Deiji set is available in a L/XL!
J.Crew is offering 40% off almost everything. This Oxford looks fabulous. Intrigued by these jeans. Deeply love these pants. This dress feels ultra-wearable. This skirt is lovely (I size down) and you can wear it with a cardigan, with a button-down, with a silk tank, with a simple tee. Endless styling opportunities! This is a really good bathing suit - high leg but full coverage butt (I ordered a couple of suits before our recent trip and none of them worked - so I went back to this as my old faithful!)
Not on sale but…
I just ordered these Spanx Kick Crop Pants to have a good pair of work pants to wear on a trip I have coming up.
Restocking this makeup bag essential. I love it so much and I am not someone who likes to put anything on my face!
Can’t stop thinking about this tote bag. This one too (will it hold my laptop though???).
The latest Hill House Home drop really made my heart flutter. I am obsessed with the Georgia Nap Dress, the Grace Maxi, (I just really love the navy peony bouquet pattern especially!!!), and the return of the Daphne dress.

loved all of these links and have to check out these kids pjs. Too many open tabs might just have to be the title of my memoir!
