I am not someone who has ever gotten or given a major Valentines day gift. I always see these roundups of gifts and wonder - who is just casually getting a 2K+ piece of jewelry for valentine's day - that sounds nice though. Also, while I wildly love my husband, I’m not sure he could be trusted to make a decision on something in that price range without deep consultation from me or at the very least, my closest confidants. Seems like my life is not destined to be one where I am casually getting a 2K+ anything for any holiday, but hey, that’s life!
But, since we’re all about celebrating everything this winter, it is a lovely holiday to celebrate the people you love! (Quick note to husbands/partners/spouses everywhere: a (small is acceptable!) gift + beautiful flowers is actually a requirement). It’s winter, January felt like it lasted at least 4-6 months, February is not off to a much better start (at least not in my house), and we could all use a little pick-me-up treat.
Last night, when both of my kids were climbing on top of me (which is basically what they did every waking hour of the week), fighting each other to be more attached to me than their sibling, I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open, and wondering what point we we will have watched ‘Encanto’ so many times that we will be absorbed into the movie, my husband popped his head into the room we were sitting in and asked, “what do you want to do for Valentine’s Day?” I really wished he could read my mind and select something from this roundup. Instead, I yelled at him to read the room and ask me some other time. OOPS. Anyways, these are some of the things that I have been eyeing and would love to give or receive.

Martini Glasses: Estelle Colored Glass makes beautiful pieces. I have a set of champagne coups, and a set of rocks glasses. Such a fun addition to a glass collection and fun to pull out to celebrate just about anything!
Heart Earrings: An on-holiday statement earring that could be worn all-year-round!
Bralette: Perfect parts sexy & comfortable
Blouse: Continuing with my obsession over all things Mille with this shirt. So perfect to channel spring vibes in winter (the collar would look so cute popping out from a cozy sweater!) and then wear all spring and summer long.
Apple Watch Band: I have been wearing my sport band with my apple watch forever, but often dream about how a different band would look, and complement my stack of bracelets. This brand has so many fun options!
Reversible Coat: A very on-theme color-way in this extremely popular and stylist coat!
Swim Trunks: Something for our little boys! These are so sweet and we have had good experience with swimsuits from this brand!
Lipstick: A little something to help you look alive on those Zoom calls!
Cassette Tape iPhone Case: I’ve been thinking about replacing my current phone case and I laughed out loud when I saw this one and just love it so much!
Blouse: Just something simple and pretty!
Frame: An interesting photo frame is such a good gift I think. The type of thing someone can always use but might not buy for themselves. This one is really whimsical (and comes in many other color-ways if you don’t want pink!)
PJs: A pair of comfy and cozy pjs that might also bring the gift of a good nights sleep?
Candlesticks: Something fun and cheerful for your mantle or table.
Cardigan: This is on major sale although still not inexpensive, but I love the look of this cardigan and think it would look so cute over a dress in the spring or a chilly summer evening.
Necklace: I think heart necklaces are very on-trend right now, in addition to being on-theme for Valentines day. This necklace would be a fun way to have a customized piece without making a huge investment.
Cookbook: I’ve heard great things about this cookbook and it’s been on my wishlist for awhile!
Kids PJs: Heart-eyes for these heart pjs for their kiddos! I got these for my daughter and she looks adorable in them.
Lip Mask: I love this lip mask so much and its a really lifesaver in the dry, cold, winter months.
