2024 Holiday Gift Guide - Part 2
Two more gift guides: Gifts with Good Vibes + Special Treats for the most special people
In case you missed it, my first two gift guides are here:
#2: Beauty treats for the beauty lover, or who could use a little extra self-care
You can browse all gifts that I’m featuring plus more here in my one-stop Holiday Gift Guide Shop.
Say it with me now: the lead up to the holidays is meant to be fun. Don’t stress too much!!!
My confession is that I haven’t done anything yet to prepare for the holidays, and when I started to think about all the things that I want to do in the next several weeks, I did start to get pretty overwhelmed. I half-started about 100 tasks that started running through my head (I think there are 46 tabs open on my phone right now and I can’t even confirm that number because just thinking about that makes me feel a little anxious!!)
BUT. BUT. BUT.
Everything will happen. We don’t need to do every single activity that crosses my mind. My kids will not be mad at me if we don’t have a Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving (well…not that mad!) I DO need to order Holiday Cards (we WILL get them out before 2025!)
Also, I vow right now that I will actually relax a little bit during our Thanksgiving break and enjoy the extra time off work and with everyone at home. I’m not going to be a shopping crazy person. I’m not going to be a task crazy person. I’m going to be a netlix xmas movie binging crazy person. The sales are coming though (most have already started!), and I will be doing a roundup that will publish this weekend (in the meantime, the things I’ve seen that are catching my eye are here.) Are you shopping for something specific? Let us know in the chat + I’ll help you!
Today, I have two more guides to share with you - and we’re going to dive right into it.
Gift Guide #3: Gifts with good vibes - for home, life or body
Depending on who your shopping for, this might be for someone who brings and deserves good vibes, it might be for someone who loves to entertain and is a great host, it might be for someone who needs a little extra good vibes.
Early Bird CBD Gummies - I love me some EarlyBird CBD - I take one of these most nights a during the week and they deliver an amazing gentle relaxation. Like, I had a martini and a half, without having a martini and a half. I sleep great. Gift these to a new parent, a friend who’s interested in drinking less, someone who might be feeling a little anxious, or just someone who you think might enjoy dipping their toes into a THC microdose. A sample pack is a great gift under $30.
Piano Cocktail Glasses - For the Martini lover in your life. There is just something about a great glass - one of my favorite things to do at night with my husband is get in my PJs and make a killer cocktail, drink it out of a fancy glass on our couch while watching a great show or movie. It feels adult and special and cozy. I also love to mix a great cocktail for friends and serve it in a nice glass. Most of the time there are many children running around and we use plastic glasses, so it just feels FANCY.
Matisse The Cut Outs Coffee Table Book - A great coffee table book is not to be underestimated. I imagine that this is a sign of my age, but these are things that I want for my house, but I want the books to feel cool and tell a story. I have loved Matisse’s work since I was little (my grandmother knit me a sweater with Icarus on it!), and I think anyone working on adding character and vibes to their home would love this book.
Material Cloud Pitcher - This looks amazing on the shelf in my kitchen, and we pull it out for dinner parties with friends. I love the interesting shape, and even use it for flowers from our cutting garden in the summertime!
Cloth Napkins - I am a broken record when it comes to finding the very best tabletop items from Furbish Studio. I love their holiday selection so much, and have added something to our collection of napkins, tablecloths and placemats every year (I’m personally eyeing this pattern, but they have a huge selection). They have beautiful patterns, an assortment of sizes and their pieces hold up great. A beautiful gift for a host or hostess, or anyone who loves to throw a good dinner party!
Pineapple Wall Basket - The perfect gift for someone who just moved into a new home, and needs a happy spot to collect keys or other bits and bobs by their front door.
Tealight Lantern - Set the vibe with a beautiful and unique tealight.
Block Print Travel Pouch - One can never have too many pouches, and this is great for anyone who travels, or likes to have things look orderly and beautiful in their home. Love that you can personalize also! This is another great one if you want to gift something on the larger size.
Machete Marble Hairclaw & Comb - Another little detail that is practical and looks beautiful on your counter or in a drawer.
Fun Socks - You can never have too many, and it’s nice when they make you smile!
Gift Guide #4: Special treats, just because, for the people that are always there for you no matter what or when or why
This is a guide for…your best friend, your sister, your mom, your mom-like figure, any bestie you’re shopping for. Just special things for all different types of people that are just special things (all under $200 but some under $50) - just things I have and love and would happily receive as a gift (and am very likely to be giving this year!)
Made by Rooni Necklace: Made by Rooni is a brand I discovered this year, via
and I’m fully obsessed. Colorful beaded jewelry is the perfect way to add fun accessories and personality to your outfits. These necklaces make me so happy!! I think they would make any recipient happy (and spruce out even the most simplest outfit!Chimi 04 Sunglasses: These sunglasses look good on EVERYONE.
Mansur Gavriel Zip Card Holder: The perfect wallet that is big enough for most of your needs, but also small enough to slip into a clutch or evening bag. A fun color is a nice little treat for someone who wouldn’t buy this for themself!
Negative Set - Top & Pants - Is there anything better than a fresh set of loungewear? ESPECIALLY in the wintertime, I am team enter the house at the end of the day = put on loungewear. Such a great treat! Negative has been on my radar since I did some serious underwear research last year, and, in addition to their underwear, their Whipped line in pretty awesome! Also really love this sweatshirt.
Truffle Clarity Pouch: The perfect gift for someone who travels a lot, or a mom who is carrying around most of her things in a diaper bag, but needs to be able to find her essentials quickly in that giant bag.
Sleep Crown Pillow: The perfect treat for someone who takes their sleep seriously.
Jenn Lee Bag: Okay, one item on the list that is over $200, so for someone who is really special, here’s a great idea - I love that this bag can be worn during the day and help you go hands free, as well as is so ladylike and chic for a night out. PS that I have and love this style!
Face wash & headband: Have you seen someone doing their makeup or skincare routine with a giant puffy headband on? Chances are it’s this one. It’s the type of thing you probably wouldn’t think you need, but once you have it, you realize it’s so incredibly practical, and you’ll wear it nearly everyday. Pair it with a melty face wash that dissolves all makeup and cleans your skin!
Perfect Baseball Cap - I love baseball caps and I think everyone needs all kinds - ones you wear for walks or runs, ones you wear at the beach, ones you pair intentionally to complement your outfits. I love a chic navy choice. Or a forest green one.
Lake PJs - The perfect PJs make a great gift - for your mom, mom-like figure, a new mom, or a mom-to-be. These are amazing, and you can never have too many. A robe is also always a good choice!
Personalized Notepad - Paper products spark joy and a personalized notepad is no exception!
Hart Top Knots - These are my go-to special/dress-up earrings - they make every outfit special, and are especially festive around the holidays!
Okay, that’s it for now! More to come in the next few weeks, plus some coverage of Black Friday/Cyber Monday (do we even call it that now - is it just Sale month?) from me. If you want to just browse all the recommendations, you can find my full gift edit on ShopMy right here.
